Dr Navti's motivation for creating and delivering this program was primarily to develop cloud talent on the African continent. As a student, Dr Navti earned a scholarship from the Cameroon government that enabled him to pursue a B.Eng in Structural Engineering with Architecture at the University of Manchester in the UK, and subsequently an MSc in Computational and Numerical Modelling at the University of Wales in Swansea, UK. These gifts have inspired him to give back to a continent that gave so much to him, but as yet has received so little in return. Dr Navti is working with numerous partners across the African continent to enable access to global cloud skills.
